The Kroger Co., Louisville Division and West Louisville kitchen incubator Chef Space, supported by non-profit Community Ventures, have opened  applications to the Kroger Local Food Entrepreneur Scholarship Program for the second year. The scholarship program provides small food business owners with an opportunity to advance their endeavors.

 

Kroger is donating nine-month scholarships to four local food artisans and small-scale product manufacturers with full-time access to Chef Space’s state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, where they can use preparation and processing stations, storage space, kitchen equipment and other business resources to help build their operations.

 

The application period will begin on February 3 and close on March 1. All applications must be received prior to the cut-off period to be accepted.
